本研究旨在探討空巢老人主觀幸福感的概況，並釐清社會支持與 空巢老人主觀幸福感之間的關聯。研究者以問卷調查302名台南、高 雄、屏東地區的空巢老人的背景資料，及其對社會支持、主觀幸福感 的認知感受。蒐集所得資料，進行f考驗以及結構方程模式的統計分 析。研究結果發現，空巢老人主觀幸福感不佳，女性空巢老人負面情 緒較高，獨居空巢老人的主觀幸福感比偶居空巢老人的主觀幸福感 差，社會支持與空巢老人主觀幸福感有正面的關聯。根據研究發現， 研究者對空巢老人社會支持、主觀幸福感的提升以及未來研究提出建議。

The main purposes of this study were to investigate the subject well-being of empty nest elderly, and explore the relationship between social support and subject well-being of empty nest elderly. The data were collected through questionnaires from a sample of 302 empty nest elderly in Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung. The obtained data were analyzed by t-test and structural equation modeling (SEM). Statistical analysis yielded the following results. First, subject well-being of empty nest elderly was worse. Second, negative emotion of female empty nest elderly was significantly higher than that of male empty nest elderly. Third, subject well-being of solitary empty nest elderly was significantly lower than that of couple empty nest elderly. Fourth, there was positive correlation between social support and subject well-being of empty nest elderly. Based on these results, implication for the promotion of social support and subject well-being of empty nest elderly was discussed. And suggestions for future study were provided in this study.
