臺灣教育的發展深受歐、美先進國家影響,相較臺、泰雙方緊密的經 濟與文化關係,臺灣對於泰國教育之瞭解卻極其有限。有鑑於此,本研究 之目的即在於分析泰國師資培育制度與教師素質管理機制,希望以此提供 臺灣對泰國師資培育制度與問題能有深入與完整之瞭解。本研究重要發現 如下:首先,就泰國的師資培育制度與教師素質管理機制之起源背景而 言,泰國的師資培育制度深受西方影響;其次,泰國的師資培育管道具有 「大學學位」、「學士後教育文憑」及「認證教師知識標準」三種不同方 式;第三,泰國的師資培育制度存在著教師數額不足的問題,另外,教師 亦亟需加強教學能力以提升學生學習興趣;第四,泰國的師資培育制度與 教師素質管理機制進行6年教師課程之改革,期以因應加入「東(南亞 國)協加三」(Association of Southeast Asian Nations, ASEAN+3)所帶來 的未來發展需求。
Compared to the close relationship between Taiwan and Thailand, Taiwan’s educational researchers still do not pay much attention on Thailand’s issues in Education. This research aims to inquiry teacher education system and teacher quality management mechanism in Thailand. The main results of this paper are summarized as follows: Firstly, teacher education system and the teacher quality management mechanism in Thailand is deeply influenced by western teacher education system. Secondly, there are 3 approaches for teacher education in Thailand: bachelor of education, graduate diploma, and certification of Teacher’s standards. Thirdly, because of teacher’s supply doesn’t meet the social demand, Thailand has to reconstruct appropriate quality standards to enhance their teaching ability and foster students’ learning motivation. Finally, in order to response the new challenge of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)+3 and to meet future development, Thailand executes a six-year curriculum plan, which will give “teacher education system” and “teacher quality management mechanism” more important role in future reform.
