本文基於在寄主小花蔓澤蘭（Mikania micrantha）之型態特徵與內部轉錄區間隔 (ITS1-5.8S-ITS2) 之rRNA 基因 序列的分析，發表臺灣新紀錄種蔓澤蘭尾孢菌（Cercospora mikaniicola）。文中亦討論此菌的傳播及對於生物控 制應用之潛能。
英文摘要
Mikania micrantha, originating from tropical South and Central America, has become a noxious invasive weed in Taiwan. Cercospora mikaniicola (anamorphic Mycosphaerellaceae, Capnodiales), hitherto known from Mikania species in several countries, is recorded for Taiwan for the first time. The spread and potential of this fungus for effective control of M. micrantha are discussed.
