本研究目的在檢驗IT銷售人員的道德哲理對其操弄不道德銷售技倆的影響。本研究採便利抽樣以91台灣IT銷售人員為問卷調查對象。研究結果顯示高理想主義(情境主義者和絕對主義者)之IT銷售人員較低理想主義(主觀主義者和例外主義者)之IT銷售人員不喜歡操弄不道德銷售技倆。主觀主義者和情境主義者屬高相對主義。然而,主觀主義者之IT銷售人員較喜歡操弄不道德銷售技倆,而情境主義者之IT銷售人員則較不喜歡操弄不道德技倆。研究發現有助於IT公司之銷售管理者招募新銷售人員或晋用目前員工。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the moral philosophies of IT salespeople on the evaluation of their unethical sales tactics. Data were collected from ninety-one respondents with a convenience sample of Taiwanese IT salespeople. The results show that IT salespeople who scored high on idealism (situationists and absolutists) tend to view unethical sales tactics less favorably as compared to those who scored low on idealism (subjectivists and exceptionists). Subjectivists and situationists both show high relativism. However, subjectivists view unethical sales tactics most favorably, while situationists view unethical sales tactics least favorably. The findings of this study should help sales management in IT companies to select new salespeople or segment the current employees.
