Two algorithms, one for drawing circles and one for drawing ellipses, are proposed in this paper. The idea of the new approach is based on the table look-up method rather than the direct point- by- point calculations. The computational results reveal that the proposed method performs better than existing methods. Although the table look- up method requires extra storage, it is still a good choice for applications in which time is a critical constraining factor.
