Thirty-one species of Myxoniyccics lhal appear on the bark of living trees arc reporied. Nine of them arc recorded for (he first time on Taiwan: Echinostelium minutum, Calomyxa melallica, Arcyria annulifera, A. carnea, Hemilrichia karstenii, Physarum leucopus, P. serpula, Clastoderma debaryanum, and Macbrideola cornea. Other taxa listed are those included in the genera of: Ceraiiomyxa, Cribraria, Reticularia, Arcyria, Perichaena, Physarum, Didymium, and Stemonitis. Their growth habit and microscopic characteristics are demonstrated by figures in eighteen plates. Four apparently undescribed laxa, one of Cribraria and three of Physarum, are described. The taxonomic certainty of them await further comparison and investigation. Boths field collections and moist chamber technique were adopted for the fructifications.
