The structure of the vascular tissues and the origin as well as the seasonal growth of tho vascular cambium in the corm of Isyetts taiwanensis have been studied.A periodical change in the cambial activity was observed, and tho prescnco of an extensive one-banded secondary thickening trachcary elements in secondary vascular tissues was noted.
