Fungal isolations from the pigeon population in the met- ropolitan area of Taipei were investigated. Five potential pathogenic species found included Aspergillus fumigatus, A. nigert Cryptococcus neoformans, Geo-trichum candidum, and Histoplasma capsulatum. Twenty four other species of taxonomic interest were also observed.
