自一九七〇年代以來“國際政治經濟學”（IPE)作為一門新興的學科，其發展大體上可 以分為三個主要的發展形式:即國際經濟政治學、國際政治經濟學與全球政治經濟學。本 文的主要研究目的就是探討此三者的演變原因，各形式的主要研究議題、以及分別提出的 不同分析架構與研究方法。經由這樣的討論可以更清楚的釐清IPE與“政治經濟學”、“國 際經濟學”或“國際關係學”等相關學科之間的關係。而本文的研究方法則是透過分析IPE 各形式的代表性著作來達成，包括史珮蘿的<國際經濟關係的政治學>、吉爾平的<國際 關係的政治經濟分析>、史翠菊的<國家與市場>、帕藍的<全球政治經濟學>以及其他 相關學者的著作等等。

Since 1970s the development of the International Political Economy (IPE) has gone through three major stages including the Politics of International Economic Relations (PIER), the International Political Economy » and the Global Political Economy (GPE). The main purpose of this article is to investigate the reasons for the transformaiation of this new academic discipline. The author also tries to distinguish different research agenda, approaches, and methodologies among various stages. To study these questions may help us clarify the relationship between IPE and other field of studies such as the "International Economy5,5 the “Political Economy”，and the “International Relations”. The typical textbooks and relative articles of the IPE will be reviewed and analyzed in this study. Especially, the arguments and assumptions of Joan Spero's The Politics of International Economic Relations, 1977, Robert Gilpins The Political Economy of International Relations, 1987, Susan Strange's State and Market: An Introduction to the International Political Economy, 1988, and Ronen Palan' Global Political Economy: Contemporary Theories, 2000 will be compared.
