中文摘要

近年來,由於社會發展快速、人們生活型態改變、價值觀混淆、社會負面事件 頻仍,促使教育當局呼籲學校重視品德教育,端正社會風氣、重建道德價值觀。 本研究採質性研究方法,以臺中市某一品德特色小學為研究對象,藉由訪談參 與該校關懷活動的輔導主任、教師、學生、及社區人士,探究學校實施關懷活 動推動品德教育對學生品德的影響。根據研究結果了解學校透過全面實施關懷 活動,提供學生親身體驗關懷的機會,學生能由愛自己、愛家人,進而愛他人, 且能關心身旁所處的環境,顯示學小實施關懷活動推動品德教育,對學生品德 有正面的影響;學生能由關懷他人與被關懷的美好經驗,產生對自己、他人的 關懷之情,進而能將情感轉化為關懷行動,並在關懷行動中,體會人性的良善 與感動。根據研究結果,對學校推動品德教育及未來研究提出相關建議。

英文摘要

As many researchers argued that character education is very important for schooling, this research drew on qualitative methods by semi-structured interviews, observation, and document analysis to study an elementary school that practiced character education in Taichung City as the case. It explored how elementary schools could promote character education by implementing caring activities to influence students’ behavior. The result of study shows that the school applied modeling, dialogue, practice, and affirmation to practice caring activities. The students would care about families, peers, animals, and the environment around themselves. They have built relationships among others. This study contributes not only to introduce the ethics of care has a profound effect on elementary students' character, but also to promote character education has a positive impact on elementary students’ behavior. Some suggestions are provided for future research.
