優秀學生運動員的原生家庭、運動天賦、主客觀資源並不相同,這些會影響他們的運動參與,同樣地也可能是導致他們運動退出的因素之一。然而,過去探討優秀學生運動員退出意圖主要關注在受傷、能力、疲勞、學業壓力、低成就感…等有關個人生、心理因素,卻忽略個人以外的社會層面因素影響。事實上,若單純由生、心理因素檢視學生運動員運動退出的原因則過度簡化此一議題,且忽略機會、資源的均等性對他們運動參與的影響。因此,本文直接關注在社會層面因素討論運動退出的相關原因,以作為後續研究的基礎。
Family of origin, sport gift, and subjective and objective resources of an outstanding student athlete may affect their sport participation and result in their dropout from sport. The previous studies of dropout intention mainly focused on the physical and mental fields of injury, competence, tiredness, study pressure, and low achievement but ignored the effects of social aspects. These studies issues would be oversimplified by discussing the reasons of dropout of student athletes and the effects of opportunity and resources equality to their sport participation would be ignored. Thus, the purpose of this study is to discuss and to explain the dropout intentions of outstanding student athletes by perspectives of social factors for the foundation of the subsequent studies.
