聖嬰現象在全球各地造成氣候的變異，1958年以來的聖嬰、拉尼那現 象對臺灣地區的降雨是否有影響爲本文分析的重點，本文選取臺灣地區彭佳 嶼、基隆、宜蘭、臺北'新竹、臺中、澎湖、阿里山、玉山、臺南、恆春， 臺東、花蓮十三個測站，以介入分析法（丨ntervention Analysis )硏究各聖嬰、 拉尼那現象對臺灣地區颱風雨 '梅雨、其他類雨的影響。分析結果顯示：無 論聖嬰、拉尼那現象發生時，除了受顯著影響的測站外，臺灣地區各類降雨 並未有特定增加或減少的型態存在。

The El Nino had deranged weather patterns around the world. This study investigates whether the El Nino or La Nina events occurring from 1958 through 1998 affected precipitation of Taiwan. Intervention Analysis is used to detect the relationship between El Nino, La NTna and the precipitation of Pengchia Island, Keelung, Ilan, Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, Alishan, Yushan, Tainan, Hengchun, Taitung, and Hualien, respectively. The study reveals that a specific rainfall pattern does not exist during El Nino and La Nina, except for the affected stations.
