鳳凰山區由於氣候溫暖且雲霧盛行之因素,區内附生維管束植物資源豐富。本研 究於2014年間,結合步道沿線踏查、樣木調查及整匯歷年相關研究文獻,共記錄得本區附 生維管束植物150種,當中包含真附生植物87種、兼性附生植物54種及半附生植物9種,並 以蘭科植物47種及水龍骨科32種所含種數最豐。除此外,調查結果尚記錄得30種稀有植物 於其中。鳳凰山區原始森林稀少,多零星分布於鳳凰山嶺線處,以附生植物而言,於海拔 較高且林相較為原始之森林内有較豐富之附生維管束植物類群及數量。調查結果中,部份 地生物種偶可見於樹幹或側枝上之腐植質或苔蘚層豐厚處;另外,部分附生維管束植物在 附生位置或附生樹種上可能有偏好性存在。

英文摘要

Mountain Feng-Huang is riched in epiphyte vascular plants due to its warm and wet environment. In 2014,we investigated species richness by recording along the trail, treeclimbing, and literature survey. We recorded 150 epiphyte vascular plants, including 87 true epiphytes, 54 facultative epiphytes, and 9 hemi-epiphytes. The most abundant were in the family of Orchidaceae (47 taxa) and Polypodiaceae (32 taxa). Moreover, 30 rare plants were recorded. The virgin forests in the Feng-Huang Mountain is very rare and limited along the ridge area. Higher altitude regions have more abundant epiphytes than lower regions. Some terrestrial taxa can also be found in canopy or trunk, which accumulates rich humus and bryophytes, while other vascular epiphytes may have preferences in adhesion site and host tree.
