本研究以消息來源研究方法中的内部途徑（内容分析）結合外部 途徑（消息來源策略研究），一方面分析中國時報和聯合報在報導婦 運團體推動民法修正時，是如何處理不同的消息來源的；另一方面則 從《婦女新知》雜誌中的每月大事記及，一雜誌所提供的書面資料中 ，整理出婦運困體的媒體策略。本研究並主張以消息來源媒體策略作 爲區辨不同消息來源權力層級的指標。

This study used two methods: content analysis and analysis of source strategies to analyze two Taiwanese newspapeers (China Times and United Daily) in order to find out how newspapers with different poltitical stances handle their news soruces differently. The author suggests that further studies referring news source biases could use source strategy as criterion to differentiate the power hierachy of the news source.
