本文以《維摩經》現存最早的支謙譯本為研究對象，運用梵漢對勘的文獻學方法考察了它的文獻學、哲學及語言學價值。首先它雖為早期譯本，但卻含有晚期文本所缺失的內容，有助於我們全面了解《維摩經》的文本；其次它與梵文及其他文本的差異揭示出其底本是以驢唇體（kharoṣṭhī）寫就，語言則可能是以犍陀羅語為主的中世印度語。最後此譯本在哲學思想上表現出善惡二元對立的傾向，很可能是支謙受到漢地思想影響改動而成。

The article takes Zhi Qian’s translation of the Vimalakīrtinirdeśa as the main subject of its investigation and uses the philological approach to reveal its hidden value in philology, linguistics and philosophy. First the philological evidence indicates that the translation includes the content that later texts do not have even though it is earlier than them. Second the underlying language of the manuscript of the translation is assumed to be a mixed Middle Indic in which Gāndhārī may play a significant role. Finally, the translation shows different attitude towards the identity between good and evil, which is likely to be the earlier thought of the Vkn.
