本論文嘗試就九〇年代以後台灣報紙媒體對女性政治精英的若干 報導與評論案例進行解讀與分析，嘗試探究當女性政治精英在台灣政 治領域嶄露頭角的同時，大眾媒體究竟如何塑造或描緣她們的形象、 又是如何書寫她們的種種政治實踐，傳統上若干對女性參政的負面迷 思是否已消褪等。本研究特別就其中「政治參與的處境」、「身體形 象的書寫」與「政治衝突」三個面向的議題加以檢視。對台灣的女性 政治精英而言，媒體再現是其投身公共領域所必須面對的挑戰與壓 力，而眾多案例也說明，台灣報紙媒體所再現的女性精英，依舊包含 了扭曲的刻板印象，也再現了主流社會對女性參政的種種迷思與意識 形態。

This study tries to investigate and analyze some news coverage and criticisms on women politicians in Taiwan press during the 1900s，. Three topics is chosen to make the discussion, there are “The situation of participation in government and political affairs，，，“The writing of body image” and “The conflict of political arena”. To most women politicians in Taiwan, they must face the challenges and pressures that come from the media representation when they get involved in the public domain. Furthermore, a plenty of cases also explain that the press of Taiwan not only represent some distorted stereotypes of women but also represent the various illusions and ideologies on the female’s participation in government and public affairs.
