這是一個"雲端計算"的時代, 無論何時何地, 用戶可以動態地透過網路取得\"雲端服務"。\" 雲\"是由資料和資源所組成,\"雲端服務"是根據用戶需求透過網路提供基礎設施、應用及儲存等服 務。總而言之,雲端計算是一個商業和經濟模式,使得用戶透過網路、分散式計算和虛擬化等技 術,取得計算基礎設施及儲存設施等服務。雲端計算具有三種服務模式,軟體即服務(SaaS) 、 平台即服務(PaaS) 、和基礎設施即服務(IaaS)。
Cloud OS是工研院雲端運算行動應用科技中心(CCMA)開發的雲端計算平台,有許多的相關標 準化作業程序及管理機制必須建立,其中包含營運人員的訓練及對Cloud OS平台運作的熟悉。本文 主要是深入探討雲端計算平台的營運管理,並以Cloud OS及我們的客戶為例。營運管理雲端計算平 台是一個監督、控制、設計解決方案及持續改良方案的過程。當營運環境有事件被觸發,如何以最 短時間找出事件原因,提供應變措施或解決方案,讓系統快速地再次恢復最佳的營運狀態。

英文摘要

This is a "cloud computing" age and user can dynamically obtain cloud services through the network wherever and whenever needed. Cloud is composed of data and resources. Based on user requirements, the cloud services can supply the following services over the network, such as infrastructure, applications, and storage. In brief, cloud computing is a business and economic model. It can empower the users by using the technology of network, distributed computing and virtualization to get the resources of computing infrastructure and storage facilities. Currently Cloud has three service models which are Software-as-a-Service(SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service(PaaS), and Infrastructure-as-as-Service (IaaS).
Cloud OS is a cloud computing platform developed by ITRI CCMA. Many related standard operating procedures and management mechanisms including the personnel training and the familiarity with the Cloud OS’s operation must be established. This paper uses Cloud OS and our clients as an example to talks in depth of operations management for a cloud computing platform. Cloud operations management is the continuously improving process with monitoring, controlling, designing, and subsequently redesigning cloud operational processes. When the operating environment has triggered contingencies, we need to identify the root causes of contingencies in the shortest time and provide corresponding solutions to solve them. Therefore, the system can quickly resume the service in the best condition.
