本文從考古發掘中發現的大理古代「華嚴經」的抄本或印刷品，從依據「華嚴經」製作的石窟造像，佛寺木刻、紙本畫卷等「華嚴三聖」的作品；從誦持、弘揚「華嚴經」的雲南大理僧人等三個方面論證，華嚴宗從唐宋時期至今在雲南大理有一定的影響。

Based on the evidences of three aspects as follows, the thesis argues that the Hua-yen School has been keeping influence of a certain degree in the region of Dali Yunnan since the Tang-and-Song Dynasties. The evidences include: the handwritten copies and the printed matter of the ancient Dali Avatamsaka Sutra discovered from the archeological findings; the grotto statuses, the temple woodcuts and the paper scroll paintings known as the masterpieces of the Three Hua-yen Saints, which were created based on the Avatamsaka Sutra; the local monks of Dali Yunnan who devote to preaching and broadcasting the Avatamsaka Sutra.
