軍校的招生制度在近10年間歷經諸多變革，從軍校獨立招生轉變由年度學科能力測驗（簡 稱學測）作為招生的錄取標準，招生簡章中有關招生員額、體格基準、科系及性別比例的内 容，也能窺見軍事院校在性別平等理念的社會期待下，不斷地調整及修正。但，唯有透過歷 史、文化脈絡性的理解，才能真正釐清制度修正過程中的性別意涵，而不是只是受困在父權與 女權意識形態的對立中。因此，本文藉由檢視近五年（民國99年至103年）的軍校招生簡章有 關員額、體位標準在性別上的限制，以及與性別平等教育法制度相關的議題，進行文本分析。 當透過性別觀點檢視時，我們發現招生内容及過程充滿了權力結構化的關係與安排，並仍存在 著性別間的雙重標準。然而，我們也同時從文本中所傳遞出來的改變，看到軍事院校在各項性 別的限制及規定上，彷如一個有機體般，不斷的順應變遷而逐步開放。我們深切期待，面對新 時代戰爭型態挑戰的軍隊，能嘗試放下對陽剛價值的堅持，讓深具性別意識的招生制度成為戰 力提升的具體實踐，也能作為軍隊與追求性別平等社會的對話平台。

In the past decade, the enrolling system in military academies has changed dramatically from independent enrollment into annual General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT). From the number of enrolling, physical standards, faculty and gender ratio listed in the admission brochure, it also can be seen that military academies have kept adjusting and revising under the social expectation of gender equality. However, the gender consciousness on system revision can be clarified only through the understanding of historical and cultural thread rather than from the conflicts between patriarchal and feministic ideologies. Therefore, the study conducted text analysis on the limits of number of enrolling and physical standards in the admission brochures in the recent 5 years (from 2010 to 2014), and the topics related to Gender Equality Education Act. From the perspective of gender, it’s found that there are relations and arrangements related to power structure in the content and procedure of enrollment, and there are unequal standards significantly existing between different genders. However, it’s also seen from the texts that military academies have gradually been open and changed the limits and regulations on genders organically. We deeply expect that the army challenged by new forms of war can abandon the traditional preference to males, so that the military capacity can be improved and the gender equality in the military can be spread to the society by the enrolling system with gender consciousness.
