本研究的目的在於找出在國軍人員自殺肇生前可能出現的徵兆，並透過統計分析來探索自 殺徵兆對自我傷害行為的可預測性，期在自我傷害事件肇生前，早期發現萌生出自殺意念的人 員，做為防治機制介入的參考指標。本研究採取量化研究取向，研究分析資料區分為二個階 段，第一階段為心理衛生中心所管制的自我傷害個案檢討報告，針對報告内容篩選出肇生自殺 行為前出現的異常徵兆。第二階段為依軍種比例隨機挑選出的19個國軍心衛中心單位所列管的 個案概況資料做為對照組，研究樣本合計406筆，運用次級資料分析法及透過統計分析自我傷 害行為徵兆。本研究最主要的發現：個人債務、透露自傷訊息、不當管教、離婚、近期至親過 世、家庭不睦、分手與人際關係等8項徵兆對自我傷害行為具有顯著的預測力。

The purpose of this research is to find the possible signs prior to suicide taking place. The analytical data acquired in two stages. The first stage is the suicide case reports managed by the Mental Health Center of the Military of National Defense, and the second stage is the case reports managed by 19 Mental Health Centers randomly selected based on military types, which serves as the controls group. This study collected 406 research samples. This study finds there are 8 signs have significant predictive ability on suicide, and they are: personal debt, disclosure of thoughts about suicide, improper disciplinary measures, divorce, recent death in the family, family conflict, break-ups, and interpersonal relationships.
