台灣目前需要長期透析治療的洗腎者 約有7萬人，是全世界盛行率最高的國家，而洗腎者所需之醫療器材與藥品仰賴 進口値每年達30億元以上。是以，吾人迫切需要對此產業進行深入嘹解。透析治療，俗稱洗腎，由於洗腎者需要長期照護卻少有治癒機會，可說是醫學上最不受歡迎的治療之一。但透析醫療產業卻是個成 長可期且獲利可觀的巨大市場，此因洗腎 者受全民健康保險的持續保險補助，只要透析醫療業者能持續對洗腎者進行治療照護，即可保障穩定的營業收入。為了進一步嘹解台灣透析_療產業的發展，本研究整理與分析台灣透析醫療器材供應商與透析醫療照護服務供應商的發展現況，找出影響其現況發展的因素，以 及未來可能的發展趨勢與策略方向。期望能提供給政府機關做為政策制定及產業界 經營參考，俾能強化台灣透析醫療產業的競爭力。

About 70000 in Taiwan require long-term dialysis treatment and are the most prevalent in the world. The medical equipment and medications needed rely on imports of more than NT$ 3 billion in value. Therefore, it is imperative to get an in-depth understanding of this industry. Dialysis patients need dialysis treatment regularly to extend their life but are almost impossible to be cured completely. As such, dialysis therapy is among medicine^ least welcomed treatments. However, dialysis healthcare industry is a huge market that is quickly growing and highly profitable. The reason behind this is that dialysis patients are reimbursed under the National Healthcare Insurance scheme. As long as the dialysis medical devices suppliers supply necessary products and the dialysis healthcare service providers continue to provide the services for dialysis treatment, it would ensure stable revenues for both. In order to further explore the development of dialysis healthcare industry in Taiwan, this study analyzes the current development of dialysis devices suppliers and healthcare service providers for key factors impacting business development, as well as possible development trends and strategic direction. The present research will address the market potentials for reference in the government5 s policy making and man-agement of the firms to enhance the competitive advantage of Taiwan's dialysis healthcare industry.
