本文以中國大片時代的四部票房之作－【英雄】、【孔子】、【狄仁傑之通天帝國】與【中國合夥人】為討論對象，就影像與現實政治社會脈絡解析其政治隱喻。【英雄】與【孔子】架構了現時的中國式政治哲學－以「天下」作為國家理論，以儒學作為社會倫理。在此架構下，個人的角色是什麼？【狄仁傑之通天帝國】提出了體制內變革的有效性，【中國合夥人】更進一步提出典範式的角色－民營企業家。

This paper discusses the “China Dream” as a metaphor in political and social contexts through four blockbusters, namely, Hero, Confucius, Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame and American Dreams in China. Hero and Confucius outline the current Chinese political philosophy—with Tian Xia as theory of the state, and Confucianism as social ethics. Then what role do the individuals play under such a framework? Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame elaborates on the effectiveness of reform within the institution, while American Dreams in China further expounds the canonical role of private entrepreneurs.
