方東美的詩性哲學在哲學界獨樹一幟,細究其理,他的哲學方法論可概括為詩化與觀相兩種。詩化法依據詩歌藝術在生命情理二儀中的獨特位置,打通了尼采與莊子,確立了「以美觀理」的解釋原則,實現了對生命哲學的感性呈現;而觀相法則將斯賓格勒的觀相學與佛教的慧眼直觀進行了融通,對中西不同類型的文化之相作了透視直觀與比較,完成了充滿詩意的中西比較哲學。從「反向格義」的立場來看,方東美的詩性哲學方法論所建構的是一個「去脈絡化」的創造性哲學體系,符合中國的泛詩化傳統,這種做法避免了因理性分析可能帶來的對文化的強制扭曲現象,對中國現代哲學方法論的建構有啟示價值。

英文摘要

Thomé H. Fang’s poetic philosophy is unique, its methodology can be summarized as poeticizing and physiognomic. The poeticizing method is based on the unique position of art and poetry in life, it connected the Nietzsche and Zhuang-zi, and established an aesthetic explanation principle; the physiognomic method was borrowed from Spengler, Thomé H. Fang used it to compare Chinese and Western cultures. See from “Reverse geyi” standpoint, Thomé H. Fang’ poetic philosophy constructed a “decontextualized” creative philosophy system, which is in accord with Chinese pan-poeticization tradition. This approach avoids the result of rational analysis which may be forced to bring the cultural distortions. So his methodology is valuable the construction of modern Chinese philosophy.
