「環境公義」和「生態公義」是環境研究中兩個重要課題。兩者雖有共通之處，卻有著難以消弭的鴻溝，其即「環境公義」難免循人類自身角度出發，它的核心始終為一「人類中心主義」；「生態公義」的出發點則為包括不同物種的整個大自然，其立場當為「生態中心主義」。我們或可言，若兩者的鴻溝未能妥善處理，則吾人在追求「環境公義」時，難保不會破壞「生態公義」，反之亦然。本文即討論方東美先生的哲學，如何幫助解決這一難題。

Environmental justice and ecological justice are two important concepts in environmental studies. Although they share certain common points, the difference between them is fundamental. Since environmental justice deals with the issue of humanity, its perspective is inevitably anthropocentrism, whereas ecological justice handles the issue of various species, which constitute nature, its perspective is ecocentrism instead. This difference potentially causes a problem, that pursuing environmental justice may harm ecological justice, and vice versa. This article discusses how the thought of Thomé H. Fang helps solve the above dilemma.
