本研究之目的為利用主線容量控制之概念,設定控制門檻,與建立一策略啟動時機之判斷策略,藉以尋找控制之最佳時機點。但依據現有之文獻分析,鮮有文獻探討控制策略之啟動時機,然而,也鮮少文獻針對各控制策略的啟動時機之不同來做分析,故本研究希望找尋一啟動控制之最佳時機點,藉以改善控制之績效。本研究所研擬之交通管理及控制策略,將透過微觀車流模擬軟體與其延伸套件來模擬控制策略,並分析策略之績效。本研究著重於完整之匝道儀控與可變速限控制啟動時機之流程,以及個別策略之績效值。研究成果顯示添加了啟動時機之控制策略均相較於未添加啟動時機之控制策略佳,可降低用路人總耗費時間。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study is to use the concept of mainline capacity control, set the control thresholds, and establish the strategies to find the timing for activating the control strategies. By reviewing the literatures, we find that the existing control strategies rarely discussed about how to determine the optimal timing point to activate control strategies. Furthermore, the historical control strategies also did not examine the impact of optimal control timing on system performance. Hence, the main concern of this paper is to establish a method to determine the optimal timing to activate control strategies and improve the performance of control strategies. In order to prove our strategy, we use microscopic traffic flow simulation software and its run-time extension to simulate the strategies and analyze the performance. This study focuses on activating the integrated control strategies and analyzing the performance. The results show that the control strategies added a strategy for activating control can reduce more travel time for drivers on the freeway.
