大學教育強調世界眼光與人類關懷。因此,大學生要總全學習多元知識和普世公民價值,做個具有和諧政治觀、經濟觀、文化觀的公民。其中最重要的是,以文化認同來建立個人的核心價值。客家人是華人漢族之族系,擁有冒險、勤勞、團結及高度重視人文教育的優秀族群。在清朝中期大量進入臺灣中部開墾,迄今一者,在臺中市留下惠來、陳平、鎮平等客家地名;二者,在濁水溪、大肚溪下游有諸多原屬客家之福老客村莊,但是這些客家人口的客家文化及語言,逐漸在消失之中。朝陽科技大學開設「客家歷史與文化」通識課程,是基於讓學生自我認識,以了解客家文化、禮俗、文學、婦女、經濟等特殊議題,進而肯定自己族群文化的人文價值,且將之融入企業管理,甚至投入客家文化產業之開創。這個課程終極目標,係以客家人過去移民各地先驗,為當今人類文化交流,作出示範的作用。

英文摘要

The university education emphasizes the world vision and mankind’s concern. Therefore, the students need to learn the diverse knowledge and the plural citizen value, as reflected in a harmonious political, economic and the cultural view. Among them, the most important thing is to build up personal core value with the cultural understanding. The Hakkanese is one of Chinese people’s clans with an adventure, diligence, solidifying and valuing educational excellent humanities quality. The Hakkanese enter Taiwanese central part to reclaim three geographic areas in middle Ching Dynasty, one, leaved Hakka place name in Taichung City , Two, in the downstream of Tatu and Cho-shui River. By now, the Hakkanese and the Hakka culture gradually disappeared. The Chaoyang Uiversity of Technology sets up “The Hakka history and culture” general education curriculum, as a means to let the students know special subjects of Hakka culture such as etiquette and custom, literature, women, economy to enrich themselves with the ethnicity culture of humanities value, and integrate it into the enterprise management, even put it into the Hakka cultural business. The ultimate objective of this curriculum through experiences in the past of Hakkanese, to demonstrate mankind’s cultural interaction nowadays.
