中文摘要

所謂產品符號學,它是除了探討產品單一造形的構成規則與形式符號意義之 外,仍必須掌握產品所欲表達的外延含意,即其中所蘊含之象徵、指示、美學以及造 形符號與使用者、理解者與經驗情境之間的相互關係及其運用之適切性。而產品設計 是透過各種設計手法與學理之應用,並結合現今量產化之生產技術與設計工具,製作 出解決人與物之間的問題、以及具備機能性以符合人的需求之最終產品的過程。此研 究是以米羅的畫作爲出發點,以產品符號理論從中擷取設計創作基本元素,並以電腦 輔助設計方式進行別針與墜子之產品造形設計,最後是以脫蠘鑄模製程完成最終之產 品,並將其與原畫作結合,進行完成品的展示設計。

英文摘要

Product semiotics not only probes into the construction rule of single product modeling, but also dominates extension implications of product including symbolization, indication, aesthetics, and appropriateness of interrelationship and application between modeling symbol, user, and emotion. Product design is a process that creates a product which can solve the problem between "people" and "matter" and possesses functionality satisfying people's need by using a variety of design methods, theories, mass production technologies and design tools. This research work starts from choosing Miro's picture named "Women Surrounded by the Flight of a Bird", and based on the theory of product semiotics to extract creative design elements. The shape of design of final products, Brooch and Pendant, was completed by using computer aided design method with Rhinoceros CAD system. The final product was produced by using lost-wax casting process, and the terminal exhibition was achieved by combining the creations and the original picture.
