中文摘要

本硏究針對同一原始資料,透過兩種不同的空間單元型態棄總爲面狀資料後,分別進行空間分 析,再對其結果做進一步比對,以瞭解此二空間單元型態對分析結果所造成之影響。面狀資料之 基本空間單元型態可分爲規則格子型與不規則區域型兩類。此二類面狀資料,就其視覺上所呈現 的特性而言,有相當明顯的差異。但若將同一原始資料,分別彙總成兩類面狀資料,其後續分析 結果是否亦會呈現顯著的差異?若是,則差異何在?此即爲本研究所欲探究的課題" 研究結果顯示,面狀資料的基本空間單元型態並未對空間資料分析結果產生顯著的影響。但若 是在資料的取得和彙總上沒有困難的話,由於規則格子型空間單元有著大小與間距統一等優勢, 其分析結果推斷似較爲可靠。

英文摘要

This paper compares the results of spatial analyses based on the same data set but through two different types of data aggregation. Area data are data aggregated according to a type of spatial units. In general, configurations of spatial units fall into two types, regular-lattice and irregular area* Accordingly, spatial analyses on area data can be conducted based on these two types of spatial units. Would the spatial analysis based on one type of spatial units differ from that based on the other? If so, how significant is it? These are the research questions being answered in this paper. The results show that the type of spatial unit configuration does not seem to play a significant role in affecting the outcome of a spatial data analysis. However, if data are available, the outcome based on regular lattice seems to be more reliable due to its uniform size and spacing.
