This study examines the relationship between personality and real-life need fulfillment of 114 online game adolescent players with an average age of 14.86 years, standard deviation 1.40 years. Of the sample, 73.7% were male, and 88.8% had a monthly income below US $90. Analytical results indicate that openness is negatively correlated with fulfillment of needs for achievement and affiliation. Conscientiousness is positively correlated wth fulfillment of needs for achievement, affiliation, autonomy and dominance. Extraversion is positively correlated with fulfillment of needs for affiliation and dominance.
