This article is a review of the historical antecedent and perspective of Islamic religion and education in Borno State, Nigeria. Observational schedule and checklist were used in generating data about Almajiri/Tsangaya schools and students (almajirai) both male and female under local governments. Percentage statistics was used in analyzing the data generated. The study proffered necessary solutions to avoid future occurrence of Boko Haram Insurgency by restructuring the curriculum of Almajiri/Tsangaya education school system to include Art education in order to create job opportunities such as vocation in art education for financial support , value orientation, poverty eradication and relief of unemployment among the youth in Borno State, Nigeria.
