英文摘要

The official websites are a vital exposure to the public. However, it has long been ignored that music or mass media is one of the most eye-catching genres in text analysis. Few studies focused on websites of international events such as the Grammy Awards and Emmy Awards during the past decades. Both are American accolades for the music or television industry. Furthermore, the interests in corpus research have increased during the past decades. This study aims to explore the application of language from corpus-based perspectives. The analytical tools such as WordSmith Tools were used to decode a self-constructed corpus or two sub-corpora based on the successive official websites. The word frequencies, keywords, clusters, and lexical chains were investigated. The results reveal how the wordlists, keywords, patterns, and clusters are frequently used on the selected websites. The analysis of the texts and clusters also suggests that the features of websites can be applied to other genres such as advertising language, international promotion manuals, and fliers for the publicity of some local or leading world events such as the Golden Melody Awards and Golden Bell Awards.
