本文主要用意在於，試圖把握譚家哲先生解讀《論語》的總綱領 ─人存在的真實性；並參酌諸家註解以闡揚譚先生「論語學」之根本 精神及哲學基礎。本文指出，譚先生「論語學」的根本綱領為（一） 平 凡而真實的人性之道，（二）「無我」與「為他（人）」的德行之學， （三）以禮樂人文為基礎的共同體之道。最後，本文強調，譚先生《論 語平解》一書的出版，足以給當代《論語》詮釋帶來重要啟示意義。

The main purpose of this paper is to highlight the truthfulness of humanity as the first principle in terms of which Jia-Zhe Tan interprets the Analects. While we adhere to this principle, some other scholars’ commentaries are critically considered in order to pinpoint what the fundamental spirit and the philosophical basis of Tan’s Analectology are. It will be shown that the grounds of Tan’s Analectology are (1) the ordinary and truthful humanity as universal reason, (2) the virtues of ‘without me’ and ‘for others’, and (3) Li-Yue (ritual and music as symbol of civilized way of life) and humanism as the supreme principle of a community. Finally, we highly affirm the significance of the publication of A Plain Interpretation of Analects written by Mr. Tan, and argue that the work is definitely a milestone of both the contemporary interpretations of Analects and Confucianism itself.
