目的:學生具備性別平等觀念,是國民應有的基本素養,且有助於營造校園性別平等之 氛圍,本文旨在探討影響校園性別平等氛圍營造之相關因素。方法:採橫斷性研究設計,是 以臺灣北部某專科學校學生爲研究對象,調查共發放500份問卷,實得有效樣本464份,有 效率達92.8%。研究工具包括兩部份,爲「個人背景資料調查表」及「校園性別平等認知量 表」。結果:校園性別平等氛圍會因學生年齡、性別、科別及年級別不同而有顯著差異存在; 其次,「校園性別平等氛圍」與學生「個人性別平等意識」、「對學校協助管道認知」與「對性 平法律認知」之關係達顯著相關,且學生「對學校協助管道認知」及「個人性別平等意識」 變項,能聯合預測「校園性別平等氛圍」29.1%的變異量。結論:根據上述研究結果,建議 學校在營造校園性別平等氛圍時宜讓學生瞭解學校協助管道並提升個人性別平等意識,使學 生能夠認識性別平等重要性,進而促進兩性關係之友好。

英文摘要

Gender equality is an essential trait required of citizens, and its cultivation in students contributes to creating a campus climate of gender equality. This paper discusses the influential factors in creating a campus climate of gender equality. In this cross-sectional study, the subjects were students at a college school in Northern Taiwan. Among the 500 questionnaires distributed, 464 valid questionnaires were collected, yielding an effective response rate of 92.8%. The research instrument involves 2 aspects: a personal background information questionnaire and a campus gender equality awareness scale. The results indicated that significant differences existed regarding the campus climate of gender equality according to students’ age, gender, major, and grade level. Moreover, the item “campus climate of gender equality” was significantly correlated with the items “personal awareness of gender equality,” “awareness of school support channels,” and “awareness of gender equality laws” In addition, the variables of awareness of school support channels and personal awareness of gender equality could jointly predict 29.1% of the variance regarding campus climate of gender equality. Based on these results, assisting students with learning about school support channels and increasing their personal awareness of gender equality are recommended when creating a campus climate of gender equality. Consequently, students can better understand gender equality and friendly gender relations can be promoted.
