急性青光眼也會發生在血液透析病患。有部分研究認為血液透析會導致眼壓升高。所 以當血液透析病患罹患急性青光眼，其他會造成急性青光眼的原因常被忽略。巨細胞病毒 感染常發生在免疫不全的病患，包括血液透析病患。我們報告了兩例血液透析病患的急性 青光眼。經過詳細檢查後，巨細胞病毒葡萄膜炎被診斷。使用抗巨細胞病毒藥物後，眼内 壓和視力都有戲劇性的改善。

Acute glaucoma also developed in hemodialysis patients. Several studies revealed hemodialysis may increase intraocular pressure. Therefore other causes of glaucoma were ignored in hemodialysis patients. Cytomegalovirus infection frequently attacks immunocompromised patients, including of uremic patients. We reported two case of acute glaucoma in hemodialysis patients. A^er a series of studies, cytomegalovirus uveitis was diagnosed. After gancyclovir therapy, intraocular pressure and visual acuity improved dramatically.
