本研究分為兩部分,第一部分為椰碳懸浮液之製作,並添加分散劑聚丙二醇(Polypropylene Glycol, PPG)以增加粉體於懸浮液中之分散性,再以粒徑測試、界面電位測試、沉降測試對椰 碳懸浮液進行分散性之評估。第二部分添加椰碳懸浮液於己內醯胺(S-caprolactam, CPL)中均勻 混合,經水解開環、聚合反應、冷卻固化、破碎、純化及乾燥後,製備出含椰碳聚醯胺6切片。 研究結果後發現,添加1.0 wt%聚丙二醇於椰碳懸浮液中,可以將椰碳粉體分散至最小粒徑值 205.57 nm ;且在pH值9.55時,得到最佳之界面電位值40.03 mV且製備出之聚醯胺6椰碳切 片同時也具備有良好的蓄熱保溫之功效。未來可應用於製作功能性纖維原料,以及後續保暖衣、 襪子、手套、圍巾等紡織產品的應用上。

This study is divided into two parts, the first part is the fabrication of coir charcoal slurry. A dispersing agent polypropylene glycol (PPG) was added into slurry to enhance the suspension of the coir charcoal powders in slurry. Since the coir charcoal is water absorbable, it is necessary to add polypropylene glycol to cover the surface of coir charcoal powders to ensure the uniformly dispersion of coir charcoal. The results show that adding 1.0 wt% polyethylene glycol to coir charcoal in the suspension, a minimum particle size of 205.57 nm was obtained. And at a pH of 9.55, the interface potential value of particle reaches to -40.03 mV The second part of this study is fabrication of polyamide 6 coir charcoal chips by using chemical synthesis method. The coir charcoal slurry was uniformly mixing with s-caprolactam (CPL). After open-ring reaction, polymerization, then cooled, the composite was produced. The composite was crushed, purified and dried as the chip form. These composite exhibit of thermal insulation function. The relative viscosity of molten coir charcoal/polyamide 6 chips reaches a value of 3.206 which can be spun. This implies the potential of apply such coir charcoal polyamide 6 chips as raw material to manufacture functional fiber and the warm-retention clothing, socks, gloves
