源自於十八世紀中葉的新古典主義，為古典式寧靜的藝術運動，時間自1780 年到1850 年之間。本研究目的主要探討新古典主義時期其時代背景與繪畫藝術發展，含女性髮型、化 妝之特色與演進。研究方法採文獻分析、比較分析及圖像分析法。結論如下：當代女性臉部 皮膚為自然膚色，弓形眉五官立體，淡色唇，顴骨呈現橢圓形腮紅。髮型多為長髮盤髮，上 梳螺捲盤髻或捲式垂落，配戴花飾飾品點綴。曾出現誇張髮型，盤髮加高加寬高髻，配戴華 貴蕾絲、羽毛或鍛帶帽飾，亦採編織帽或絲巾圍繞，崇尚古典而高貴格調。服飾整體特色， 以高腰長袍A 襬線條，古羅馬希臘時期的自然型態，佐以披肩搭配，女鞋則為布料尖頭平底 鞋為主，整體呈現古典風姿及儀態。

Neoclassicism, originated from the mid-eighteenth century, was a classical tranquil art movement from 1780 to 1850. The purpose of this study is to explore the background of Neoclassical period and the development of the art of painting, including the characteristic and evolution of women’s hairstyle and makeup. The research methods include literature analysis, comparative analysis and image analysis. The conclusions are as follows: contemporary women have natural facial skin color, arched eyebrow, three-dimensional facial features, pale lips, and oval blush on cheekbones. Their hair styling is mostly long hair or updo, with roll bun or falling down, decorated with ornaments. There used to be exaggerated hairstyles, updo with high broad bun, decorated with luxurious lace, feathers or ribbon hat, also woven hat or scarf, and they advocated classical and noble style. The overall characteristic is mainly high-waisted robe A-line, with the natural form of the ancient Roman Greek period, accompanied by shawl, and women’s shoes are mainly pointed flat ones made of cloth, integrally presenting classical style and gesture.
