本研究的目的是要探討幼兒内、外在行為問題發生的情形,以及與父母期待、親職壓 力間的關係。研究樣本是台中縣六個鄕鎮298位就讀托兒所的幼兒與其家長,研究工具使 用幼兒行為檢核表和親職壓力量表。主要的研究結果發現:(1)在幼兒的内在行為問題 部分,發生頻率最高的是「憂鬱或焦慮」;而外在行為部分,發生頻率最高的是「攻撃 行為」(2)比較父母感受和各項幼兒行為表現間的差異,「身體狀況抱怨」和「攻撃行 為」兩項,感受値與霣際行為間的落差存在顯著差異(3)親職壓力量表總得分對幼兒内 在與外在行為問題都是有效的預測因子。研究討論部份提出對幼兒行為問題的發現和輔 導須注意的事項,還有對日後親職教育内容和妤解親職壓力方法的建議。

英文摘要

The purpose of present study was to examine children’s behavioral problem, including internal and external behavior. This study also investigated relationship between children’s behavioral problem, parental expectation and parenting stress. Two hundred ninety-eight children in Taichung county, 11/2 to 5 years of age were involved for this study. Parents of subjects were also examined in the study. The behavioral problems of subjects were assessed using the Achenbach’s Child Behavior Checklist 11/2-5 (CBCL). Parenting stress was measured using Abidin’s Parenting Stress Index. (PSI)/ long form. Parents’ demographic variables were also measured as potential risk factors. Results showed: (1) the highest number occurred in the internal behavior was “ depression and anxiety” and in the external behavior was “aggressive behavior” (2)comparing parental expectation and children’s behavior performance, significant differences were found in the “somatic complains” and “aggressive behavior” subscales (3) level of parenting stress was an effective predictor of children’s behavioral problem. Results suggest that parents will benefit from coping strategies that may help lower parenting stress levels and influence positively upon children’s behavior performance. Suggests of behavior counseling and parent education are also provided.
