中文摘要

校務研究(institutional research, IR)是近年來臺灣高等教育發展的重要議題,教育 部於2015年以專案方式補助各大學校院在校內建置如校務研究辦公室之單位,專責進行 校務資料分析,期能協助各校建立以證據為本來支援決策的參考依據。本文介紹中山大 學應用校務研究於學生學習成效評估的推動經驗,並藉由資料數據驅動校務研究議題分 析,檢視學生在入學前的學習準備與表現連結至進入大學後的學習成效評估,透過學習 成效評估系統的推動及實例說明,說明中山大學如何建立以數據為本的教育決策模式, 體現導入校務研究分析結果,以改善高等教育的教與學之成效。

英文摘要

Institutional research has been an important issue in Taiwanese higher education recently. the Ministry of Education (MOE) has been shaping IR practices in higher educational institutions (HEIs) starting in 2014 by facilitating such initiatives as symposia and workshops, centering student learning outcomes as the major theme to ensure quality assurance of undergraduate education based on data-driven research. The paper aims to introduce the development of IR practices at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), starting from IR organization to operational mechanism. With the growing needs for accountability in higher education, senior leadership at universities and colleges has come to see the value of IR that can provide an array of decision supports. The paper also introduces the cases of IR practices that NSYSU conducted, such as collegiate outcomes of learning assessments survey projects and post-graduate employment performance for student learning outcomes for enhancing teaching and learning in college.
