敦煌佛學佛事篇〈伯3800 滿月文〉是祝賀新生命降臨的三篇文章中的一篇，這篇滿月文 描寫出生上品之家、尊貴之門的小孩出生的盛況，讓人聯想臺灣漢人也有誕生禮的生命禮俗， 從懷胎到出生、滿月、周歲，有求子儀式，重視胎教，嬰兒誕生時報喜、三朝禮、滿月禮、 做四月日、做度睟，表達對新生命的祝福與祈禱。

“Bo 3800 First Month Celebration Text,” Buddhist Chapter, Dunhuang Buddhism is one of the three articles about celebrating the birth of a new life. This clear text describes the exceptionally grand occasion when a child is born into an aristocratic or a wealthy family. It is reminiscent of Han People in Taiwan also having customary rites of passage, from pregnancy to birth, the first month, the first year, including many ceremonies to express one’s blessing to a new life such as ceremonies of praying for an offspring, valuing prenatal education, announcing a new born baby, the third day ritual, the fourth month ritual, and a vocational inclination test for a one-year-old.
