It is a great honor and pleasure to be here today to share with you some of my thoughts and observations about contemporary stateoftheart psychodrama and point to its future challenges. I am grateful to Dr. Agnes Chu-Chung Wu who came with the idea of inviting me to Taipei to meet and talk with you about these issues, and to exchange views. Indeed, this is a privilege to be here and to be placed in a dual role: as a teacher and as a student at the same time. Personally, the visit to Taiwan is a learning experience for me, an opportunity to understand how psychodrama is thought of in this country, and how it is incorporated into your cultural heritage.
