筆者18 歲時，開始在台北西餐廳自彈自唱英文歌曲，有職業歌 手的經驗。到21 歲、大學四年級之後，因社會意識覺醒而在40 多年 前投身台灣「唱自己的歌」文化運動。本文依據這些體驗，擷取歷史 文獻、口述歷史以及圈內人知識，重探1970 年代台灣大專學生創作 歌謠文化運動的社會情境；分析的起點是2015 至2016 年間的「『民 歌40』巨蛋雙胞」現象。 本文提出三項問題意識，與五位音樂文化工作者／評論人對前述 現象及1970 年代歌謠文化運動的論述，展開對話；他們的共同身份 是知名於1990 年代，或許對於40 多年前的歷史樣貌，體會並不完整。 作者認為，若要重探「唱自己的歌」文化運動在當時所處的社會 情境，至少必須兼顧三大面向：一是「在國際共犯結構中生成的二戰 後台灣政經文化」。再是「『吃美國奶粉長大』的1970 年代台灣大 專學生」。三是「滋養1970 年代台灣大專學生創作歌謠的多元文化 養分」。順此，理當更能與三個問題，有更緊密的對話：「激發出1970 年代台灣大專學生音聲吶喊的歷史層積的可能樣態」、「可能孕育出 1970 年代台灣大專學生創作歌謠的多元文化樣貌」，以及「在戒嚴體 制、殖民文化與認同危機中摸索成長的『自己』樣貌」。

This research reconstructs the context in which the Singers-Songriters' Cultural Movement took place across various campuses in Taiwan during 1970s. To that end, it examines the influences on culture in general that stem from the imposition of martial law imposed by KMT, the ruling party, and from the American military- industrial deployments in Taiwan during the same period. Drawing on historical documents and first-hand knowledge regarding the Singers-Sonwriters' Movement, this research lays the foundation for future exploration into and understanding of this Movement and beyond.
