中文摘要

以牛糞、刺竹及商用三種活性碳做為吸附劑,探討其吸附不同濃度溶液中之鋅離 子能力,並分析其Langmuir與Freundlich等溫吸附模式。結果顯示,牛糞及刺竹活性破在不 同鋅離子濃度下吸附性皆優於商用活性碳者,其中牛糞活性碳的吸附能力最佳,碳材比表 面積及孔隙分佈並與吸附效果並無明顯相關,但牛糞活性碳之灰分及磷含量較高,因此推 測可能係牛糞活性碳的其他金屬離子與鋅離子發生離子交換,提高牛糞的吸附性。又分析 3種活性碳對鋅離子的Langmuir與Freundlich等溫吸附模式,得知二種吸附模式的平衡參數 皆顯示出有利於鋅離子吸附,再由決定係數R2 3值得知,三種活性碳均較符合單層吸附行為 之Langmuir等溫吸附模式。

英文摘要

This study examined adsorption ability of zinc ion and isotherm data treated according to Langmuir and Freundlich models at different concentration solutions using cattle manure, thorny bamboo (Bambusa stenostachya) activated carbons, and commercial activated carbons as adsorbent. The results showed that adsorption ability of cattle manure and thorny activated carbons was than that of commercial activated carbon, and cattle manure activated carbon was the best. Specific surface area and pore structure of activated carbons were not significantly related to the adsorption effect. There is higher quantity of ash and phosphorus in cattle manure activated carbon, which cause ion exchange between zinc ion and other metal ions, and thus, raised the adsorption ability. According to Langmuir and Freundlich models analysis, the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model better represented single layer adsorption behavior of the three activated carbons for adsorbing zinc ion by coefficient of determination. All dimensionless equilibrium parameter data were beneficial to adsorption of zinc ion.
