登革熱是一種由病媒蚊傳播之病毒傳染病,病毒會感染多種人類細胞。但登革熱病毒對精液的影響尚不明確,且與登革熱病毒相關的寡精症患者以前也從未有病例報告過。本篇報告一對不孕夫婦中的丈夫因感染登革熱而造成精液參數發生短暫變化。原本這位先生的精液分析為正常。後來他感染了登革熱,且經過支持療法後,他的登革熱症狀已緩解。然而,之後進行試管嬰兒及體外受精療程時,精液分析卻顯示為寡精症、精子活動力下降及型態不良。持續追蹤一段時間,精液參數逐漸好轉。後續使用卵子胞漿內單精子注射後也能成功受精。幸運的是,這對夫婦中的妻子在胚胎植入後成功懷孕而且分娩過程平順。根據此案例,我們發現登革熱病毒可能會引起精液參數的短暫變化,但受精和胚胎植入過程並不受影響。

英文摘要

Dengue fever is a prevalent mosquito-borne viral disease and the viruses infect a wide range of human cell types. The influence of dengue virus on semen parameters is still unclear and it related oligozoospermia has not been reported before. We introduce an infertile couple that male subject had transient change in semen parameters after he was infected by dengue virus. His symptoms of dengue fever subsided after supportive treatment. However, semen analysis revealed oligoasthenoteratozoospermia during In-vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures thereafter. The semen parameters became better during follow-up. There was successfully fertilization after intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). Fortunately, the female subject got pregnancy after embryo transfer and the process of delivery was smooth. In conclusion, we found that dengue virus may cause transient change in semen parameters, nevertheless the process of fertilization and embryo implantation was unaffected.
