於民國74年9月至75年5月間，自全省各縣市藥房、藥局抽購含乙醯水楊酸之單方製劑共215件，依USP XXI版Aspirin Tablet及Aspirin Suppository中之free salicylic acid項之方法逐件測試，計154件符合USP之規定，不符合規定佔61件（占28.4%）比率甚高。
英文摘要
In an attempt to understand the quality of commercial Aspirin Tablets and Suppositories, the Bureace collected 215 samples in Taiwan area from Sep. 1985 to May. 1986. The presence of free Salicylic acid in Aspirin Tablets and Suppositories was determined according to the method described in the USP XXI. The results showed that a total of 61 samples (28.4%) failed to meet the requirements specified in the USP XXI.
