本文說明我國中老年病患住院治療的現況，並介紹各國開發的壓力感測規格與技術如何應用於高齡病患住院時的照護管理。最後簡介執行中的科技部產學計畫「住院病患照護之即時防摔壓力感測系統」的開發目的與使用方法，以減少高齡病患在病房內摔倒的情形並減輕護理人員的工作負荷。

This article describes the current status of hospitalized treatment of middle-aged and elderly people in our country and introduces how the pressure sensing specifi cations and technologies developed in various countries are applied to the care management of elderly patients when they are hospitalized. Finally, an introduction to the ongoing MOST project “Development of Immediate Anti-drop Pressure Sensing System for Caring Senior Inpatients”, which was developed to reduce the incidence of falls among wards in the wards and to reduce the workload of nurses.
