本研究以硼氫化鈉作為製備零價銅顆粒的還原劑,將硼氫化鈉加入硫酸銅後產生劇烈反應,5 min後生 成銅顆粒,以TEM與DLS觀察偵測粒徑分別是250 nm與1,468 nm。將銅顆粒以XPS分析,確實含有零價銅。以 硼氫化鈉還原之零價銅皆可移除不同濃度(25至100 ppm)的Reactive Black 5 (RB5),試驗溫度與移除率成正比關 係。此外,本研究亦測得不同溫度下之反應速率常數,藉此計算得知硼氫化鈉還原之零價銅移除RB5的活化 能約為16.30 kJ/mol。本研究成果將有助了解以硼氫化鈉還原之零價銅特性及其移除RB5的能力,以期研發出 反應性強的金屬材料。
In this study, we used sodium borohydride method to produce zero-valent copper (ZVC) particles. After adding sodium borohydride into copper sulfide, a strong reaction occurred and ZVC particles were produced after 5 minutes. The particle size was 250 nm and 1,468 nm measured by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and dynamic light scattering (DLS), respectively. According to X-Ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis, these particles contained zero-valent copper. ZVC particles removed 25 to 100 ppm of Reactive Black 5 (RB5) effectively and the efficiency of removal enhanced while the temperature went higher. Furthermore, the activation energy for RB5 degradation was 16.30 kJ/mol calculated by Arrhenius equation. Our results illustrated the basic characteristics and RB5 removal ability of ZVC particles.
