本計畫將研究鉛橡膠材料對電子射束表面及深度劑量影響之效應,以探討使用鉛橡膠作為高能電子射束組織 相等材料替代物,或鉛皮阻擋物的可行性。本計畫以15x15 cm2限光筒,在30x30x30 cm3固態水假體上,分別取 1~4 mm厚的組織相等材料,鉛當量0.5 mmPb的鉛橡膠及鉛皮,分別覆蓋到假體表面上,在SSD = 100 cm以每 0.5 cm為級數的深度變化,從表面處測至7.5 cm深度,以0.055 cc平行板游離腔測量其表面及深度劑量,觀察並 比較不同厚度的鉛橡膠材質對臨床常用電子射束深部劑量影響的情形。實驗結果顯示,0.5 mmPb-eq鉛橡膠板可 増強低能量束(6和9MeV),1.0 mm鉛片可減少低能量電子($ 9 MeV)光束中的表面劑量,但可増強高能電子(> 9 MeV)光束中的表面劑量。

英文摘要

This project will study the effects of lead rubber materials on the surface and depth doses of the electron beam to explore the feasibility of using lead rubber as a substitute for high-energy electron beam structures, or as a barrier to lead skin. This project plans to use 15x15 cm2 light-restricting cylinders, and on the 30x30x30 cm3 solid-state water prosthesis, take 1〜4 mm thick tissue equivalent material, 0.5 mmPb lead equivalent lead rubber and lead skin^ respectively covering the prosthesis surface. In the SSD = 100 cm depth change every 0.5 cm series, measured from the surface to 7.5 cm depth, the surface and depth dose measured with 0.055 cc parallel plate free cavity, observe and compare the different thickness of the lead rubber material pair Common clinical electron beam deep dose effects. Experimental results indicate that the 0.5 mm Pb-eq lead rubber sheet can enhance the low energy beams (6 and 9 MeV). The 1.0 mm Pb sheet can reduce the surface dose in low-energy electron (< 9 MeV) beams but enhance the surface dose in high-energy electron (>9 MeV) beams.
