臺灣現代海洋文學創作近年來益發受到重視,投入相關主題創作的作家與作 品亦所在多有,海洋書寫向來以男性最擅勝場,作品多能展現實際面對大海時的 勇敢與恐懼。本文則以簡姨、蔡素芬兩位女作家的海洋書寫為討論對象,關懷檢 視在女作家面對「海洋」進行創作時,切入視角與選擇題材的獨特觀察;其次探 索「海洋」在女性寫作策略中的位置,及其象徵與隱喻作用;再就女作家作品中 的「海洋」意識與敘事,探討不同性別作家進行勾勒心中海洋圖像時的異同,期 能深度梳理臺灣現代海洋文學的多元樣貌,並從性別研究的角度,追尋檢證海洋 主題在女性書寫中的意涵與價值。

英文摘要

In recent years, modern marine literature has been paid more and more attention in Taiwan, and many writers have been devoting themselves to the creation of this theme, resulting in many related works. Ocean writing has always been the most proficient field of male, and most of the works show the bravery and fear when the writers are facing the sea. In this paper, the marine writings of the two Taiwanese women writers, i.e., Jian, Zhen and Tsai, Su-Fen, will be discussed. First of all, we will be attentive to and look at the unique view as well as the themes selected by women writers when they are facing the "ocean" and creating their works. Secondly, we explore the position of "ocean" in women's writing strategies and their symbolic as well as metaphorical roles. Finally, based on the observations on the "marine" consciousness and narration in the works of women writers, we then discuss the similarities and differences in the works given by writers with different gender when they are sketching the ocean images. With the above research steps, hope that we can have a detailed picture on the diversity of Taiwan's modern marine literature, and to pursuit the meaning and value of marine theme in the female writing from the perspective of gender research.
