本研究目的為利用數本貝登堡傳做為文本,分析出童軍活動在警探術之來由, 經由瞭解貝登堡的警探生涯得知童軍活動的原始意涵與教育哲理。由貝登堡幼時與 求學階段到軍旅生活的自然生活經驗和警探術的運用,成為童軍運動中的活動。他 將警探術由技能層次昇華至心理層面,發展人們的品格、重視健康的身體和公民責 任和態度。童軍運動的教育哲理即為貝登堡3Hs 的觀點:快樂、健康、有用的公民。 由貝登堡的生命史,童軍教育人員應再次省思童軍精神和童軍教育的價值,反思童 軍活動課程設計與實施是否符合童軍教育的教育內涵,進行真正的童軍教育活動。

英文摘要

The aim of this study was understanding the original meaning and its educational philosophy from analysis the scout life of Baden Powell through many autobiographies as contexts. Baden-Powell’s experience in nature environment from childhood, studying phase to military carrier utilized scouting knowledges and skills which became activities of Scout Movement. Baden-Powell enhanced scouting from skills’ level to psychological level to develop people’s character, focus on health body and citizenship attitude. Education philosophy of Scout movement is Baden-Powell’s view point called 3Hs: Happy, Health, Helpful citizen. From Baden-Powell’s life, the scout value and spirit should be reconsidered by scout masters and teachers. Scout educators also reflect scouting course design and application which fully match education connotation or not. It is truly teaching scout education through its activities.
