《中庸》對張載的理學建構發揮了特別的影響。這裡所謂《中庸》的「特別影響」具體指：范仲淹授《中庸》，是張載走上學術道路的起點；此後，《中庸》對張載理學思想的發展產生了持續的和多方面的影響，尤其對張載理學綱領的確立和理學體系的建構其影響更加深刻。在理學史上，《中庸》如此持續、多方面而又深刻地影響了一位理學家思想的發展，是比較罕見的學術現象。作為專題討論的嘗試，有必要著重從以下三個問題入手：一、《中庸》對張載理學思想產生了哪些特別影響？二、《中庸》為張載理學綱領的確立提供了直接證據；三、《中庸》是張載建構理學體系所依據的關鍵文本。

The Mean exerts its special influence on Zhang Zai’s construction of Neo-Confucianism. The so-called special influence” of the Mean here specifically refers to: Fan Zhongyan’s teaching the Mean is the starting point for Zhang Zai to embark on the academic path, and since then, it has had a sustained and multifaceted impact on the development of Zhang Zai’s Neo-Confucianism. In particular,it has a more profound impact on the establishment of Zhang Zai’s Neo-Confucianism program and the construction of Neo-Confucianism system. In the history of Neo-Confucianism, it is a rare academic phenomenon that the Mean persistently affects the thought development of a Neo-Confucianist in many ways. Based on this observation, it is necessary to focus on the following three issues: first, what special impact has the Mean had on Zhang Zai’s Neo-Confucianism? Second, the mean is the classical resource for Zhang Zai to establish the framework of Neo-Confucianism; third, the Mean is the main basis for Zhang Zai to construct the Neo-Confucianism system.
